Belfast is the capital city of Northern Ireland. It is on the eastern coast and the hills to the north-west are thought to be the inspiration for the novel Gulliver's Travels.

Blackpool is a seaside town on England's west coast. It's most famous attractions include it's three piers, Blackpool tower, a muggle theme park and it's night-time illuminations which even witches and wizards are amazed by.

Dublin is both the largest and capital city of the Republic of Ireland. It is a popular shopping spot for the wizards and witches, with it's Irish version of Diagon Alley, albeit larger and with more shops.

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland. It lies on the east coast of the country, by the Firth of Forth. Edinburgh is the home to its own film, book, international and performing arts festivals which are all big hits in the wizarding community.

Land's end is situated at the most westerly point of England. It is a seaside town with tourists coming in from all over the country. It's also the point wizards and witches apparate from to get to the unplottable island of Lyonesse.

On the bank of the Mersey river is the city of Liverpool, a place renowned for its culture. Ask any wizarding youth and they will tell you it has the best nightlife in the country.

A metropolitan city by the River Irwell, Manchester is one of the most magically populated areas in the north of England.

This National Park consists of vast moorland and is one largest expanses of heather in the United Kingdom. Hidden from Muggle ramblers is a Quidditch Stadium.

A rural area in the north-west of England, The Lake district is a popular destination for camping holidays. It consists of around 95 lakes and 114 hills.

Whitby is a historic fishing port on the north-east coast of England. Many wizarding families travel there for a day out at the seaside.
